Exemption Request

Exemption Request

From time to time, there may be a legitimate reason why a required file is not available. When that happens, you can use the Exemption Request form in Dotloop. Here’s how to access and submit it:

How to Access the Exemption Request Form:

  1. Click “Add Document.”

  2. Select “Templates.”

  3. Open the “Dalton Wade Custom Forms” folder or the “Exemption” folder.

  4. Locate the Exemption Request Form, check the box, and copy it to your loop.

  5. Fill out the form — it’s quick and only requires two fields. No signatures are needed.

  6. Drag and drop the completed form onto the required item or placeholder you are requesting the exemption for.

Once uploaded, this will allow your loop to be submitted for review and will clearly explain why the required document should be exempted.
