Transferring a Loop Between Two Dotloop Accounts
Sometimes agents end up with two Dotloop accounts—for example, if they created one with a personal email and later set up a new account connected to Dalton Wade. If your old loops are stored in a non-Dalton Wade account, you can transfer them to your current account by sharing them with yourself.
Step 1: Log in to the Old Account
-
Sign in to your old Dotloop account (the one not linked to Dalton Wade).
-
Open the loop that you need to transfer.
Step 2: Share the Loop to Your New Account
-
In the loop, click Add Person.
-
Add your new Dalton Wade–linked email address (the one associated with your active Dalton Wade Dotloop account).
When the sharing screen appears, select the permission Edit in Private.
-
Share all necessary documents to your new account email.
Step 3: Access the Loop in Your New Account
-
Log out of your old Dotloop account.
-
Log into your new Dalton Wade–linked account.
-
You will now see the loop(s) and documents that were shared over.
