Selecting Correct Office in Dotloop

Selecting Correct Office in Dotloop

Why This Matters

To ensure your transaction is properly submitted for compliance and reviewed by our team, it's essential that you're working within the correct Dalton Wade office in Dotloop. If you're in the wrong profile (like the default Dotloop one), your loop won't connect to us—and that means delays, errors, and frustration. You will also not see any of our templated loops when creating one.

How to Tell If You’re in the Wrong Place

If you see a message at the top of your Dotloop screen that says:

“Upgrade your account”
—this is a clear sign you’re in the default Dotloop profile and not linked to a Dalton Wade office.

What to Do Instead

Before you create any loops, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Dotloop at dotloop.com

  2. Look for the profile switcher dropdown in the top right corner of your screen.

  3. Select your Dalton Wade office from the list (it should say the state (or states) you are licensed in with the company).

  4. Once you're in the correct office, then create your loop.

This ensures your documents route correctly to our compliance team, and you avoid unnecessary delays or confusion.
