Cancelling a Listing Agreement in Dotloop
Cancelling a Listing Agreement in Dotloop
Here is what you would need to do as it pertains to Dotloop and submitting to compliance when you are cancelling a listing agreement with a seller. This is in addition to anything you need to do with the MLS to cancel the listing there.
First thing is to create a new folder at the top of the loop.
Call the folder, "Cancelled Listing Agreement"
Add the fully executed listing agreement to the folder by dragging it out of the Listing Documents folder and into this one.
Add the Modification form or Termination Form (whichever is applicable in your state), to the Cancelled Listing Agreement Folder.
Add the Status Change Form to the folder too (STELLAR MLS USERS ONLY).
Then Submit the Folder for review.
NOTE: In states that require the broker to terminate listings early in the MLS, follow this additional step: After you submit for review and the documents have been approved, reach out to the broker by email,
kevin@daltonwade.com and let him know that the termination paperwork is in the loop and to cancel the listing at the MLS. Be sure to include the
property address,
MLS number and which
MLS it is listed on.
