Change or Modify a Listing Agreement in Florida

Change or Modify a Listing Agreement in Florida

From time to time a listing agreement changes.  Examples include a price change, and extension or a cancellation.

Your listing agreement is a contract.  When you want to change any of the terms of that contract/ listing, you need to do is use the "Modification to Listing Agreement" form, along with the status change form (if you are in Stellar). The status change form is also used when you need to take a listing temporarily off the market, withdraw/cancel it, or change the commission. A blank "Modification to Listing Agreement" form should already be in your listing loop, but if it isn't:

  1. Open your loop for this transaction
  2. Go to your Initial Docs folder
  3. Click add document (to the right of the folder name)
  4. Click templates
  5. Scroll the down the list of folders on the left to "FL Realtors Documents" and open this folder.
  6.  Check the box next to Modification to Listing Agreement
  7. Select "copy"

To find the Stellar Status Change form:

  1. Open your loop for this transaction
  2. Go to your Initial Docs folder
  3. Click add document (to the right of the folder name)
  4. Click templates
  5. Scroll down to "Stellar MLS" and open this folder
  6. Check the box next to Status Change Form
