Cancelling a Listing Agreement in Florida
The document you need to cancel a listing agreement in Florida is called the "Modification to Listing Agreement"
You can find that document in the templates in Dotloop.
Add Document > Templates > Florida Realtors Interactive Forms > Modification to Listing Agreement
On the Modification form, there are a couple of choices that you will make.
Termination Date
Then there are choices for the Cancellation fee and whether the termination will be conditional or not conditional. The cancellation fee will be the fee that you put on the original listing agreement.
*NOTE: STELLAR MLS USERS
If the property is listed on Stellar MLS, you have an additional form you must fill out and have the seller sign, the Status Change form. That can be found on the Stellar MLS portal or in the templates in Dotloop in the Stellar MLS folder.
