If you’re an experienced Dalton Wade agent who enjoys sharing knowledge and supporting others, our Mentorship Program offers you the opportunity to guide new agents through their first transactions — while earning additional income.
Being a Mentor is about more than answering questions. It’s about building confident, capable agents who are prepared to succeed in real estate.
As a Mentor, you will:
Assist your mentee in executing, processing, and closing their first 1–3 transactions (based on their preference).
Prepare mentees for buyer and seller consultations, including role-play practice, scripts, and objection handling.
Provide guidance on listing and contract preparation.
Advise on the contract-to-close process.
Meet with your mentee at least once a week (one-on-one or in a group) to set, implement, and track an action plan for success.
If local, allow your mentee to shadow you at showings, listing appointments, inspections, final walkthroughs, and closings.
For each transaction a mentee chooses to receive mentorship on, 30% of their commission is allocated:
25% to the Mentor for hands-on guidance.
5% to Dalton Wade for program support.
A Mentorship Agreement is signed by the Mentor, Mentee, and Dalton Wade. This agreement outlines all tasks and expectations.
Mentors must be able to confidently use Dotloop, Dalton Wade’s CRM, and other company tools to help guide mentees effectively.
To qualify as a Dalton Wade Mentor, you must:
Have completed at least five real estate transactions, including two with Dalton Wade.
Be confident in using Dotloop and completing contracts accurately.
Be proficient in Dalton Wade’s CRM and other company tools provided to agents.
Be capable of completing all outlined mentor tasks and those listed in the Mentorship Agreement.
If you meet the requirements and are ready to help shape the next generation of Dalton Wade agents, you can apply to join our Mentor list.
We are not currently accepting Mentors in Florida.
Once approved, your name, email, phone number, headshot (pulled from BoldTrail), and other details (such as specializations, languages spoken, and availability for in-person meetings) will be displayed on our website for agents to review.
