If you are moving an active listing from your previous brokerage to Dalton Wade, follow the steps below to ensure compliance and proper setup in MLS and Dotloop.

Step 1: Complete the Listing Transfer Form

1. Obtain the Listing Transfer Form

   • Download it directly from your local board.

2. Collect All Required Signatures

   • Seller signature – acknowledging transfer to Dalton Wade

   • Previous broker signature

   • Your signature (listing agent)

   • New broker signature (Phil in Florida or Kevin in other states)

3. Submit the Completed Form

   • Send the signed form to your board so they can update the listing in MLS.

⚠️ Note: Some boards charge a transfer fee. If applicable, this will be noted on the transfer form and must be paid by the agent.

Step 2: Set Up the Dotloop File

1. Log in to Dotloop and click Add Loop.

2. Enter the property address and click Continue.

   • Example: Transfer – 1234 Main St., Tampa, FL

3. Select New Agent MLS Transfer.

4. Skip the Add Photo step and click Done.

5. Open the loop. A Transfer Files folder will automatically populate.

6. Upload documents:

   • Click Add Document, then choose Browse or Email.

   • Upload the listing transfer form, along with all listing documents and addenda.

✅ Phil allows agents to add and edit their listings directly in MLS.

Step 3: If Transferring a Pending Contract

If the listing already has a pending contract, you must notify:

• The co-broker

• The title company

• The lender

This ensures all parties are updated and the transaction proceeds smoothly.
