Marketing as a Team

Marketing as a Team

Team marketing is one of the best ways to build brand awareness, generate leads, and show strength in your market. However, all team marketing must comply with state advertising laws and Dalton Wade brokerage policies.

General Best Practices for Team Marketing

  • Brokerage Identification

    • Every piece of marketing (yard signs, websites, social media, business cards, flyers, email signatures, etc.) must clearly include:

      • Dalton Wade Real Estate Group

      • The brokerage’s phone number

  • Prominence

    • Brokerage name and phone number must be equal to or more prominent than any individual agent’s/team’s name or phone number.

  • Consistency

    • Use Dalton Wade’s approved logos and brand colors when possible. For more information on this, please visit here.

  • Team Name Approval

    • Team names must be approved by Dalton Wade and must not imply that the team is a separate brokerage. (Ex: “The Smith Group” is acceptable. “Smith Realty” is not.)

  • Follow All State-Specific Requirements When It Comes to Marketing

    • Always review your state’s advertising guidelines before launching any marketing materials. Each state has its own rules regarding how broker names, phone numbers, and team names must be displayed. Ensuring your marketing complies with these regulations protects both you and your clients while keeping your business in good standing.

Tips for Effective Team Marketing

  • Create a team marketing plan (social media, open houses, print, signs, and digital ads).

  • Purchase a Teams Account in BoldTrail to track leads and assign follow-up responsibilities.

  • Promote your team brand but always include Dalton Wade brokerage details for compliance.

  • Standardize your team’s email signatures, business cards, and signage for a consistent look.
