Outgoing Referral Loop Set Up - Dotloop



Outgoing referral to another broker:
*You are referring a client to another broker.  The other broker will issue a check to DW for your referral payment.

       1. Click on “Add Loop”

2. Type name of loop – example: “Referral – Client Name”
IMPORTANT! When client is under contract – change the name of the loop by clicking on it and add the address - example: 123 Main St. – Referral – Client Name.  When checks are received in the office Accounting will match the check to the property address & your CDA for payment.

3. Select template – “Referral to another Broker”

      4. “Real Estate Other” will load


Documents & Instructions:

Referral Paperwork-
Referral Agreement – must be signed by both brokers.
DW W-9  – auto-populates for you to send to the receiving broker for tax purposes.
CDA – once transaction closes – and final ALTA/HUD is uploaded, fill out your CDA & submit to Compliance for review.

Closing Docs:
Final ALTA/HUD – upload a copy of the final ALTA/HUD & submit to Compliance for review with the CDA. 

IMPORTANT! Accounting cannot process your referral check without the signed final ALTA/HUD uploaded.
