Real Estate E&O Insurance Designed for Tennessee Licensees
Continuous E&O Insurance Requirement
Under Tennessee law, all individual real estate licensees are required to maintain continuous Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance coverage. This requirement is enforced by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC) to ensure all agents are protected against potential claims arising from real estate transactions.
Firm E&O Policy vs. Individual E&O Policy
While Dalton Wade Real Estate Group maintains a firm E&O insurance policy, this does not satisfy TREC’s mandate for individual agents. Every licensee must obtain their own E&O policy in addition to any coverage provided by their brokerage.
