Here
is the step-by-step process you need to take to complete your referral
paperwork and then submit it through Dotloop to compliance to get paid
and have your paperwork reviewed.
First click "+ Loop" at the top right of the page after logging in:
Then
give your loop a title. You could title it with the name of your
client, the agent you're referring to, a property address, or MLS
number. Press "Continue":
Now
you will find the loop template by clicking the drop-down arrow at the
right and choosing "Referral: to another Broker" then click "Continue":
Now you will need to bypass the photo upload by clicking "Done" at the bottom right:
Then press "View Loop" at the bottom right corner:
Now
you're able to access your paperwork! The first thing you need to do is
toggle Beta view off. At the very top of your computer screen, click
the blue button so it's off:
Now you will see your documents and placeholders. Click the referral agreement to start filling it out:
Once
you've filled the form out, you need to send it to Phil for a
signature. You can do that by clicking "Submit for Review" at the top
right of your loop:
Then
check the box that says "Referral Paperwork" and click "submit." You
will need to do this again for the folder titled "Closing Docs" when
there is a sale and a referral is coming through.
If
there are any "required" documents missing, the system will generate a
pop-up notification that lets you know you still need to fill out some
required paperwork before submitting.
Once
compliance has reviewed your paperwork and everything is signed, you
can click the referral agreement and send it to the other broker for
signatures. Open the document and click "Share" at the top right:
Click
"next" and then click "add a new loop participant" and enter the name
and email address for the broker you're referring to. Make sure you put
the email address for the signing broker here:
Then make sure to click "needs to sign" next to their name. Click "Next" then "send"!
