Owners Authorization

Owners Authorization

Thank you for reaching out to support.

Our best relationships with our sellers include conversations around satisfaction in their listing as presented to the public (on the MLS or Internet sites like Zillow)  and the accuracy of the data we compiled.  It builds trust and shows our professionalism. We want them to know that we are glad to change the order of picture or tweak the write up until it makes them smile.  It also give us the opportunity to confirm the integrity of the data, which protects us and makes us smile.

Stellar MLS takes best practices a step further.  They require the seller to authorize their data, prior to making it active on the MLS.  It is actually a fairly easy process.  Please review this short video for a demonstration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILs8CcfEJxQ

FAQ: What if I made the listing active before I got the Owner Authorization?  Have the seller sign a copy of the Broker Synopsis or Owner Authorization.  It will be better than nothing in the even of an issue/audit.
