How do Agents Get Paid, and What is The Process?

Agents are typically paid at closing, meaning the title company pays them on Dalton Wade's behalf. However, for this to happen, the agent's Dotloop file must be complete and approved so a Commission Disbursement Authorization (CDA) can be issued. Note that "pay at close" is not available in Alabama and North Carolina.

If the title company does not issue a payment at closing, Dalton Wade will send the agent an eCheck or an ACH transfer once the commission payment is received.

To learn more about how to fill out your CDA, please attend our all new training class. You can register for the next session here.

In addition, here's a video to walk-through on filling out your CDA.
