Dragging & Dropping, Archiving & Renaming Documents & Folders

Before you submit your folder for review to the Compliance Team, you can prevent unnecessary documents, unsigned documents, or multiple copies of a document from being returned by doing some file clean up prior to submission!

Dragging & Dropping Documents:

-Click on document – hold the mouse key.

-Drag document to placeholder (MLS Broker Synopsis, EMD, etc.) – hover over placeholder & let go of mouse – replace will come up – yes.  You can use this replace signed docs with unsigned docs.

-Drag document to folder – click on document – hold mouse key down – drag document to folder – place in the folder if not placeholder – let go – document has been moved to that folder

Archiving a Document or Folder:

-If you have multiple unsigned copies of documents – click on the 3 dots next to the document – click “Archive”

-Please archive any unsigned docs prior to submitted for review.  It will prevent Compliance from needlessly returning an unsigned document.

-Click the 3 dots next to the folder name – click “Archive”.

*Dotloop does not allow deleting of documents. If you need the document or folder you can click “*Unarchive”, check the box & it will be re-added.

Renaming a Document or Folder:

-Click in the 3 dots next to the document – click Rename and rename your document – hit enter key when done.

-Click the 3 dots next to the folder name – click Rename and rename the folder – hit enter key when done.
