Dotloop – Why Were My Documents Returned?

When agents submit their completed & signed documents/folders to the Compliance Team for review and a Compliance Team Member returns documents or folders, the notes are provided to the agent as to why they are being returned in the notes section.  This is also where Accounting will inform you of any issues and/or needed adjustments on your CDA.  There are 2 ways to read the notes:

      1.    Notes Icon - click on the blue notes icon in the upper right corner of the page. See example:

The notes will open so you can read why the document/folder was returned and what action (if any) you need to take.  Click on the gray slide bar to scroll through & read the note(s) provided.  See example:

      2.    Email – agents receive an email containing the notes. The email will come from the Compliance Team Member via Dotloop.  See example:

Once the email is open you can read the notes by clicking on “View Notes”.  See below:

Please ensure you are reading the emails from Compliance or logging into your loop to read the notes especially if a folder or your CDA is returned and you need to take action.

Friendly Reminder!! Please ensure you are submitting your folders for review once they are complete. Signed contracts & addenda are due within 48 hours.  Submitting all your folders the day before, the day of or the day after closing will delay the processing of your CDA so please ensure you are submitting the folders timely.
