Agent Commission Payment Timeline

The timing of your commission payment after a property closes depends on two things:
1️ How Dalton Wade receives the funds, and
2️ How you are set up to receive your payment.

How Dalton Wade Receives Funds

1. Wire or ACH Deposit - Fastest method Funds are treated as cash, so there is no bank hold. Payments can be processed as soon as your loop is approved and CDA is signed.

2. Check or E-Check - Subject to a 4 business-day bank hold starting the day we receive and deposit the check.  If the check is mailed, add mailing time plus the 4-day hold before payment can be released.

How Agents Receive Their Payment

1. Pick Up Check From Title (Where Permitted) -Fastest overall option. (CDA must be approved by broker and given to title prior to closing)
You receive the check immediately at closing and can deposit it right away.

2. Direct Deposit - Funds are sent once everything has cleared.  Allow 1–2 business days for bank processing after the deposit is initiated.

3. E-Check - You’ll receive a link to download and print the check once funds are clear.  Deposit via mobile app or in person.

4. Paper Check by Mail - Slowest method.
Delivery time depends on postal service speed before you can deposit it.

Important Reminder

Your loop must be fully approved and your CDA signed by accounting before any payment can be processed.
Submit early to avoid delays.
